Kiowa County Solar Projects is Savion’s first to be developed, constructed, and owned by Savion in Oklahoma. Beginning its journey in 2017 and obtaining a generation interconnection agreement in 2022, construction on the project lasted from August 2023 to December 2024. Kiowa interconnects into the AEP substation and connects to the Southwest Power Pool as it quietly generates renewable energy during its 40-year lifespan.
