Job Description

Savion is seeking a fast-learning and motivated Financial Analyst; someone with a team-first attitude and the drive to learn the renewables business. This person will be a member of the Transactions and Finance team reporting to the Director of Financial Analysis. The ideal candidate must be organized and articulate, be able to work on multiple concurrent tasks and operate from our Kansas City, Missouri office. Some travel may be required for this role. 


  • Analyze, model and provide creative solutions in the valuation and pricing of Savion’s portfolio and potential acquisitions 
  • Take a leadership role in coordinating with the development team to compile project and pricing details for presentation to the management team and GIG 
  • Coordinate with Senior Analysts and management on review of the financial pro forma – project returns, NPV, tax equity and sponsor returns, depreciation and fundamental tax and book income matters 
  • Perform ad hoc analysis for the development, siting and management teams as needed 
  • Support and drive initiatives to streamline and improve the financial pro forma and stay abreast of industry shifts and project assumptions updates 
  • Act as transaction support for sell-side M&A processes and project acquisitions as needed 

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree demonstrating superior academic achievement with a concentration in economics, finance or related field 
  • Recent graduate or 2-3 years of relevant work experience 
  • Excellent, demonstrable skill with Microsoft suite and ability to quickly review, analyze, comprehend and summarize large data sets and complex financial pro forma 
  • Project management skills, including organization and the ability to control multiple processes and tasks simultaneously 
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment  

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Advanced degree in economics finance or related field is strongly preferred
